David is the sole Director of Spear Plumbing Ltd. He began his plumbing career over 25 years ago as an apprentice for a local firm, having done work experience with them whilst still at school. David found his niche in bespoke bathroom fitting with eye to detail and perfection. From this he has built up a reputation and has customers return to him time and time again. The majority of Spear’s work is based on recommendations. David’s philosophy is that he treats his customer’s house and job as if it were his own. He is a fully qualified gas engineer with renewable energy qualifications.

When David isn’t working, he likes to spend time with his family, playing veteran football as well as helping coach and assist with his son’s football and rugby teams.

Robbie joined Spear Plumbing Ltd in 2017 having worked for a larger regional Company fitting bathrooms and kitchens. Robbie brings a wealth of experience to the Company in all areas of building works. He is able to come up with pragmatic solutions to overcome any problems. He too is a perfectionist who thrives on complete customer satisfaction. Robbie always keeps his client fully informed as the job progresses and strikes up a good rapport with them, normally over a cup of tea.

Kurt came to work for Spear when he was 16 years old following the work experience he undertook with them. Kurt works closely with David, learning the trade and adopting the skills of David and learning the core values of the business. 4 years later, after undertaking an Apprenticeship, Kurt is now a fully qualified plumbing and heating engineer with Gas Safe Qualifications. Kurt is well known to Spear’s customers who always comment on how polite and helpful he is.

In Kurt’s spare time, he is a keen rugby player and enjoys fishing.
